cradled float series
Cradled float frames constructed with Basswood cradles, 1/2" birch backing and a 1/2" float.
deep cradled panel
Deep cradled panel, mitered corners and bracing. Available in a number of standard profiles. Custom profiles are also available.
finishes
Panels can be purchased primed, unprimed, varnished or shellacked. The profiles can also be ordered with a dark stain or painted black.
Top panel in this image shown with a stable shellac. Bottom panel unprimed, sanded and ready for paint or primer.
materials
this is not a square utilizes an array of surfaces. Panels above are deep cradled pine braced panels with a three layer plywood, faced with a Birch veneer.
more finishes
Panels above are untreated. There is an optional hard panel Gesso primer that is available. It is a traditional hard Gesso specifically designed for rigid substrates.
Panels can also be ordered as a canvas wrapped rigid substrate. Canvas wrapped rigid substrates are available in all standard sizes, custom sizes, primed and unprimed.
